This guideline is targeted at Virtuozzo server administrators. The information below requires medium Linux knowledge. After reading this document, you will be able to prepare Virtuozzo Hardware Nodes for 4PSA VoipNow installation. The preparation of a hardware node for 4PSA VoipNow can take no more than five minutes. The advices below DOES NOT affect system integrity, stability or performance.
4PSA VoipNow can be installed on Virtuozzo VPS. As long as you adjust the VPS configuration to match the system usage, the performance is not affected by virtualization. 4PSA VoipNow is shipped in Virtuozzo standard and EZ templates, which simplify the software deployment.
In order to be able to install and use 4PSA VoipNow on VPSes, you must install the templates on the EZ or standard templates on the hardware node. The templates can be installed like any other Virtuozzo application templates, from command line or from Parallels Virtuozzo server management tools.

Now you can start the 4PSA VoipNow deployment on the VPSes. In order to be able to use 4PSA VoipNow in a VPS, you can use the standard 256MB.conf sample, but you must
allow at least 131072 privvmpages. The VPS also requires a dedicated IP.
In order to install 4PSA VoipNow in a VPS, you must install all template packages that start with:
voipnow*
at the same time.
After installation you can start using 4PSA VoipNow. Change your browser to:
https://<vps_ip>
and login with:
Username: admin
Password: welcome
Please change the password after your first login. For further details please refer to 4PSA VoipNow User's Guides, that can be download from:
Hardware Node: 4PSA VoipNow is compatible with Virtuozzo 2.62 and higher versions, running on all supported Operating Systems.
VPS Operating Systems: It is compatible with CentOS 4.x and CentOS 5.x on EZ templates. On standard templates, the following packages can be used:
- ce4-p8 (i386)
- ce4-p4 (x86_64)
