Service provider licensing
Flexibility to start small and pay only for used resources. Plus, on the first year, you can get all 4PSA products for a low flat-fee.
Discount pricing is available for qualifying organizations such as schools, universities, museums, libraries, etc.

Designed for commercial organizations, this type of licensing offers the best TCO in business. It can be deployed either on-premises or on cloud.
This is available for non-profit organizations of all types and sizes, such as charities and open-source projects.

Service Provider Licensing
Our software licensing approach takes advantage of the cloud and accelerates Unified Communications adoption on business:
- Basic Cloud licensing (BCL) comes with flat prices per month. Suitable for small installations.
- Full Cloud licensing (FCL) is used on larger installations. On a monthly basis, 4PSA charges service providers strictly for what they use.
- All-You-Can-Eat (AYKE) Program is not a different licensing system, but it helps service providers boost their business.
- Pricing is based on the number of extensions, extension type, and functionality level, except for Extender Addons. Extender Addons allow the service provider to use VoipNow intensively in scenarios that are not directly related to Unified Communications.
- Usually, an extension is an end-user for the system (employee of the client company), but some extension types such as call queues, IVRs, Intercom are shared by end-users of the same organization.
Basic Cloud Licensing (BCL)
The Basic Cloud licensing comes in two options. For each, it is possible to choose different functionality levels, based on business requirements:
- Ideal for small deployments on virtual machines (containers/VM) and dedicated servers.
- Choose your functionality level: add Automation and/or Whitebox capabilities to the standard Unified Communications.
- Easy upgrades between functionality levels and to the Full Cloud licensing.
- Includes SUS Support subscription at no additional costs.

With Full Cloud licensing, you pay strictly for the used resources. This type of licensing is suitable if you need more than the 100 extensions or Extender Addons (SIP trunking, callback or calling cards) offered by the Basic Cloud licensing:
- There is a minimum price per month and you only pay for what you use.
- Monthly pricing is based on the functionality level, number and type of extensions, and used Extender Addons.
- Choose your functionality level: add Automation and/or Whitebox capabilities to the standard Unified Communications.
- Includes Cloud Support subscription at no additional costs.

(2) Phone extension - phone terminal extension type, including all features such as voicemail, basic conferencing, recording, and faxing. Phone extensions used for SIP trunking are free, charging is performed at the SIP Trunking Extender Addon level.
(3) Special extension - any extension type other than phone terminal, i.e. IVR, Queue, Advanced Conference, Intercom, Voicemail Center (not to be confused with voicemail support on phone extension). Calling Card and Callback extensions are free; charging is performed at the level of the Calling card and Callback number Extender Addon.
(4) Minimum price - this is the monthly price the service provider pays if the license usage is lower than this amount. To avoid the default, we recommend that you start with Basic Cloud licensing.
(5) SIP Trunking (Extender Addon) - SIP trunking channels come in the same number as the concurrent calls set up to be accepted by extensions with enabled SIP trunking. Extensions with enabled SIP trunking are not included in licensing (they are free); they simply provide support for SIP trunking.
Phone extension - phone terminal extension type, including all features such as voicemail, basic conferencing, recording, and faxing. Phone extensions used for SIP trunking are free, charging is performed at the SIP Trunking Extender Addon level.
Special extension - any extension type other than phone terminal, i.e. IVR, Queue, Advanced Conference, Intercom, Voicemail Center (not to be confused with voicemail support on phone extension). Calling Card and Callback extensions are free; charging is performed at the level of the Calling card and Callback number Extender Addon.
SIP Trunking (Extender Addon) - SIP trunking channels come in the same number as the concurrent calls set up to be accepted by extensions with enabled SIP trunking. Extensions with enabled SIP trunking are not included in licensing (they are free); they simply provide support for SIP trunking.
Monthly Invoice Example
At the end of the month, a VoipNow infrastructure reports the following usage:
- 212 phone terminal extensions
- 39 IVR extensions
- 12 Queue extensions
- 23 Advanced Conference extensions
- 130 SIP trunking channels
The infrastructure is using Automation and Whitebox functionality. This means that:
- the cost per phone extension is 0.90 USD + 0.30 USD + 0.20 USD = 1.40 USD. Total cost: 1.40 USD * 212 = 296.8 USD
- the cost per special extension is 2.20 USD + 0.30 USD + 0.20USD = 2.70 USD. Total cost: 2.70 USD * (39 + 12 + 23) = 199.8 USD
- the cost for SIP channels (remember that 100 are included) is 1.00 USD * (130 - 100) = 30 USD
Therefore, the monthly invoice for VoipNow Full Cloud licensing is: 296.8 USD + 199.8 USD + 30 USD = 526.6 USD.

With the All-You-Can-Eat program, you can get VoipNow Platform for a flat fee in the first year. This is our commitment to help service providers start and optimize their business without focusing on licensing or support costs. Program requirements and advantages:
- Service providers are allowed to join the program in less than 48 hours.
- Flat fees per year, depending on the number of end-users.
- Cloud Support included in the subscription at no additional costs.
- Introduction: 2 hours of technical training and 2 hours of business training.
- Free consulting for new implementations or migrations.

Business Licensing
VoipNow provides business level Unified Communications for commercial organizations of all sizes at highly affordable licensing and maintenance costs:
- Perpetual licensing provides the best TCO in business.
- Only 25 USD per year for a fully featured, 10 extensions First license! All money from First licenses goes to Green Commitment!
- Pricing is based on the number of extensions. Usually, an extension is an employee in the company, but some extension types such as call queues, IVRs, Intercom are also shared in the organization.
- Licensing costs decrease by volume as VoipNow can scale infinitely.
- No hidden costs, SUS support is included in the purchase.
Legend
(1) Extension Packs are designed to be purchased together:
- For example, if a company needs 26 extensions, they will need to purchase 3 packs of 10 extensions. The company will have a license for 30 extensions and the total licensing costs will be 897 USD. When there is need of more than 30 extensions, the company will need to buy additional extensions in packs of 10.
- A small company needs 8 extensions. They can take advantage of the First 10 extensions license, which costs 25 USD.
- For a company with 138 extensions, it's more efficient to purchase a pack of 100 extensions and add four extension packs of 10 extensions.
(2) Business licenses come with the full Unified Communications feature set provided by VoipNow Professional.
(3) The Purchase Pricing must be paid when the solution is licensed for the first time. This includes technical support and free updates over the period of one year.
(4) In order to have access to technical support and software updates, this SUS (Software Update Subscription) needs to be renewed at the end of the first year. Nevertheless, this renewal is optional.
(5) The First license is designed to help individuals and companies adopt Unified Communications. Only one First license can be purchased per individual/company. If you need more than one deployment, you have to purchase extension packs. One SUS support ticket per year is included in the purchase. First licenses cannot be upgraded to more than 10 extensions. Money raised from First licenses support our Green Commitment.
The Purchase Pricing must be paid when the solution is licensed for the first time. This includes technical support and free updates over the period of one year.
In order to have access to technical support and software updates, this SUS (Software Update Subscription) needs to be renewed at the end of the first year. Nevertheless, this renewal is optional.
Academic Licensing
4PSA provides highly discounted perpetual licensing for academic and cultural institutions.
- Pricing is based on the number of extensions. Usually, a member of the organization requires an extension, but some extension types such call queues, IVRs, Intercom are also shared in the institution.
- Subject to approval by 4PSA, it is required to prove your official organization status.
- Licensing costs decrease by volume as VoipNow can scale infinitely.
- No hidden costs, SUS Support is included in the purchase.
Perpetual Licensing
Perpetual licensing is organized in extension packs to simplify licensing for organizations of different sizes:
- Upgrading to more extensions is straightforward as it can be done online.
- Can be deployed either on premises or in the cloud.
- Includes SUS Support and updates for the maintenance period.

Non-profit Licensing
4PSA provides free perpetual licensing for organizations and individuals that, due to the nature of their activity, cannot afford to use a leading Unified Communications system. We want to help them communicate better and learn more about communication tools. Generally, this offer is available for any organization that works to make the world a better place and does not make a profit out of this. Please find below a short list of qualifying organizations:
- Charities non-profit, non-governmental, non-commercial, non-political, non-academic.
- Open Source projects and communities with a public website and established code base.
- Classroom teaching in academic institutions. The license can only be used for instructing students, not for the academic institution's own operation.
- Students who want to learn about Unified Communications.
Your application for Non-profit licensing is subject to approval by 4PSA. Therefore, you will have to prove your affiliation with one of the above categories. License can be revoked if the organization or individual no longer satisfies the initial criteria.
